Our Treasurer

Wendy is not an accountant but does have a strong mathematical background. Having graduated from Exeter University with a degree in Mathematics, Wendy embarked on a career as an actuary, retiring in 2022.

Wendy is a keen walker, having completed the South-West Coastal Path and more recently walked the 3 High Passes in the Everest region and in doing so raised much needed funds for the shop.

Wendy has been our Treasurer for the last 5 years and is happy to continue in the role.

Wendy moved to Upham in December 2017 and quickly got involved with the shop, initially as a volunteer, but from July 2018 was voted onto the committee to assist Barbara Draper, the Treasurer at that time.

In July 2019, with Barbara’s planned departure to the South-East, Wendy stepped forward to take on the Treasurer role.
